"Thanks a lot to David for hooking me up with the great job! Things
are going great so far, and David's always there with advice and teaching
resources.

This is my second tour of duty in Korea and I'm glad I got in
contact with English Teaching Korea this time around. David's friendly,
personalized service makes adjusting to Korea that much easier. I was met

personally upon arrival and introduced to my workplace by David, who now
regularly keeps in touch to make sure everything's going well.

Thanks for everything!"

Korea and China at loggerheads with regards to 3000 year old documents. The Chinese claim that Korea was a vassal state to the Chinese empire during it's Goguryeo Kingdom period in 622 BC.

The Korean government has registered complaints at the highest level. With the deptuy foreign minister today condeming Chinese 'historical inaccuracies' as he sees it.

Why does this even matter ?

Well the Koreans feel that any historic claim that China may feel it has over the Korean territories may manifest itself into a modern day movement to reclaim it's former lands.

'Dokdo' beating 'Takeshima' in cyberspace as the term used to describe a disputed pair of Islands off Korea's South East coast.

The famous Dokdo Island saga has been an ongoing bone of contention between Korea and it's former colonial master Japan. Wounds still haven't healed with regards to what Korea has called - Japan's failure to recognize many of the crime alleged committed before and after their invasion of Korea at the start of the 20th Century.

The Dokdo Islands, which are really just a bunch of rocks with some birds nesting on them. Are now protected by a 20-man crack squad of live-in Korean commandos, as well as specially commissoned 200 ton, armed Korean coast guard boats that are permenantly stationed near the Island.

Why does any care ?

Well the fishing rights around the Island are valuable. Not to talk about a fair amount of national pride....
